For established charities, we issue a verification badge that can be placed on your campaign page, to showcase to your crowdfunding network that it’s for an established charity recognized by the IRS as a tax-exempt organization. We believe that this badge provides donors additional trust and a better sense of security that you are, in fact, a certified charity, so we encourage you to submit the required documentation to our Fund by Cell team.
Required documents include the Non-Profit Letter of Determination issued by the IRS, and a copy of your IRS Form 990. If you do not have these documents, but still wish to pursue this special verification, please call at (415) 997-0200 or email us at [email protected].
