On behalf of Mr. Gordon Springell's Family

Its winter here and one of our very close family member, colleague, work mate, mentor and friend was diagnosed with a devastating aggressive pancreatic cancer.  The medical efforts to cure him were just not enough. He had been spending his last days in the private comforts of his home with his close family... It is with heavy heart that we regret to inform our very close family member, colleague, work mate, mentor and friend has passed away on the night of February, 16^th 2017

No words can express how we all feel, and unfortunately there is not much we can do for Mr. Gordon at this point but to keeping him as comfortable as we can. 

So the idea came that since it is still winter here and there won't be a gravesite to lay his flowers... we thought that any money spent on flowers could instead be donated to the family where this gesture would be more beneficial to ease the burden on Mr Gordon's final arrangements. Also, an empty Vase will be displayed at his Memorial where each can place a flower to show your respects and it will become full arrangement and show our solidarity.

Mr. Gordon loved nature, one of the many reasons he made northern Idaho his home.  He loved nature too much that he spent much of his off time outside working on his home and planting many trees that he has throughout his property. The Springell's have been thinking about making a Memorial by planting a tree in his name, where it can be enjoyed for many years.

Mr. Gordon's Family is not aware of this fundraiser at this time, as friends and family we are hopeful we could all come together to show how much we all care on this difficult time.
